Physical Installation
Installing the energieleser.bridge is easy. Just follow these steps:

1. Choose a suitable location
Choose a suitable location for the Bridge. It permanently needs a good WiFi connection and a power outlet for a constant power supply.
Choose a location close to your WiFi router.
2. Connect the USB-C cable
Plug the USB-C connector of the supplied power supply into the Bridge. Do not plug the power supply into the outlet yet.
The energieleser.bridge needs a continuous power supply.
3. Attach the fastener to the Bridge
Attach one part of the hook-and-loop fastener to the back of the Bridge.
4. Attach the Bridge
Stick part 2 of the fastener to a surface and place the Bridge on it. Thanks to the hook-and-loop fastener, you can take the Bridge off again at any time.
Choose a clean, smooth surface and clean it beforehand. We recommend not using a wall or wallpaper, to avoid damage.
5. Start the Bridge
Finally, plug the power supply into the outlet. As soon as the Bridge has power, it starts up. The status LED first blinks blue quickly.
On a Bridge that has not been set up yet, the LED keeps blinking blue quickly — this means the Bridge is waiting for setup. See Pairing the Bridge for what to do next. What the LED signals mean is explained under LED Indicator.
