Factory Reset

A factory reset deletes all of the Bridge's settings — for example when you change owner or WiFi, or want to start setup from scratch. The Bridge has no battery; it runs continuously via USB-C.

How to reset the Bridge

1. Press and hold the large button on the device for 5 seconds.
2. If you release it sooner, nothing happens.
3. After 5 seconds the Bridge deletes its settings and restarts. The LED then blinks blue quickly — the Bridge is waiting for WiFi setup again.

What gets deleted

A factory reset removes the stored WiFi credentials, the meter list and other settings. You then have to set up the Bridge again and re-register your meters.

Automatic reset

If the WiFi connection fails five times during setup, the Bridge resets itself automatically. See Pairing the Bridge.

Restart without a reset

If you only want to restart the Bridge, briefly disconnect it from power and reconnect it. Your settings are kept.
