Software Updates
From time to time we release an improved version of your Bridge's software — for example for new meter types or bug fixes.
How an update works
The Bridge does not update on its own – you have to trigger the update yourself. The Bridge then downloads it over the internet. You don't need to connect a cable or use a computer.
- A new update is available.
- You trigger the update.
- The Bridge downloads and installs the update. During this time it temporarily stops reading meters.
- When finished, the Bridge restarts automatically.
Don't disconnect during the update
Do not disconnect the Bridge from power or from the internet during an update. An update can take a few minutes.
Your settings are safe
WiFi credentials and meter list are kept through an update — you won't need to repeat setup afterwards. If an update doesn't work out, the Bridge keeps running with its previous version.
