Cleaning the Sensor

If you're using the stromleser.ttl or the wärmeleser, a small amount of routine care keeps readings reliable.

1. Every year or so, wipe the sensor gently with a soft, dry cloth. Dust on the window can weaken the signal.
2. If you rearrange your meter cupboard or move house, simply reposition the Node and reattach the sensor — the port assignment in the app stays as it is unless you're changing which meter is attached to it.

Check the alignment

After cleaning, make sure the sensor is seated flush against the meter's window again — see Mounting Sensors on the Meter.
